Award winning Director of the film The Sentinel (2015) Jay Parikh was born and raised in the western state of Gujarat in India on July 9, 1990 to traditional Indian parents. Like many other Indian students of his age, he took up an undergraduate program in Electronics and Communication engineering at the age of 18, only to realize later that his passion resides in film making and not engineering. He made his first film in 2009 which won many hearts and inspired him to create many more cinemas.
In 2021 , Jay decided move into Acting with a commercial with Kevin Hart and then he played Tenzing Norgay in Discovery's Tales from Explorers' club show. He has worked on many commercials and re enactment shows.
