Natalia Molchanova died on August 2, 2015 in Balearic Sea, Formentera Island, Spain.

She pushed the boundaries of free-diving for 12 years, her habit of setting world records earning her the nickname the Machine. Natalia Molchanova - the Russian considered the greatest free-diver of all time. Molchanova, 53, holds 41 world records in free-diving and can hold her breath for nine minutes. In May 2015, she dived to a depth of 71 meters in waters off Egypt.
