Debina Bonnerjee is a renowned Indian television and film actress, best known for her iconic portrayal of 'Sita' in the television serial 'Ramayan' (2008-2009) and as 'Mayuri Gomukh Narayanan' in the popular TV serial 'Chidiya Ghar' (2011-2014). Born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, Debina comes from a loving family with parents Asoke and Sabari Bonnerjee, and a brother named Amitava Bonnerjee.

Her educational journey led her to the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Education School, and she later graduated from Gokhale Memorial Girls' College, Kolkata. Debina's foray into the world of acting began in 2003 with her debut in the Hindi film 'Indian Babu,' where she played the role of Dil's Step Sister. She subsequently ventured into South Indian cinema, showcasing her talent in films like 'Ammayilu Abbayilu' (2003), 'Nanjundi' (2003), and 'Perarasu' (2006).

Debina's breakthrough moment arrived with the role of 'Sita' in the NDTV Imagine serial 'Ramayan' (2011), alongside Gurmeet Choudhary, Ankit Arora, and Akhilendra Mishra. She continued to leave an indelible mark on the television landscape by portraying 'Mayuri Gomukh Narayanan' in 'Chidiya Ghar' and securing prominent roles in TV shows such as 'Santoshi Maa,' 'Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga,' and 'Yam Hain Hum.'

In addition to her successful television career, Debina showcased her dancing prowess by participating in reality shows like 'Nach Baliye season 6' in 2013, where she and her husband Gurmeet Choudhary became the 1st runner-up. She also fearlessly faced challenges in 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr Ka Blockbuster' in 2014.
