Valmir Tertini is an award-winning film director with over 30 prestigious international awards and a member of the European Film Academy. His films have been officially selected and screened at hundreds of film festivals worldwide. He has served as a jury member at international film festivals and is widely recognized for his contribution to observational cinema and the tradition of cinema verite.
Tertini holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Film and is currently a PhD candidate in Film Directing, conducting his academic research at Harvard University. In addition to filmmaking, he is the author of several books.
Committed to supporting the next generation of artists, he focuses on inspiring and training young filmmakers through his "skena" workshops, encouraging them to pursue careers in cinema.
