Biography

Tin Velasco an independent film producer based in the Philippines. Driven by a passion for stories centered on women and the queer community, she founded Cine Canawili to create meaningful films with friends and collaborators. She began producing with Living Things by Martika Escobar (Cinemalaya 2020), followed by A Catholic Schoolgirl by Myra Soriaso (QCinema 2023), which later screened internationally. Her debut feature Gulay Lang, Manong by BC Amparado won the Audience Choice Award at Cinemalaya 2024. She also produced Open Endings by Nigel Santos, a Cinemalaya 2025 finalist.

She was fortunate to further develop her producing craft through the Full Circle Lab Philippines' Creative Producers Lab (2023) and participated in Platform Busan in 2019 and 2023, actively engaging with Asia's creative community.
