Composer Liu Ye has cooperated with many famous Chinese film directors such as Zhang Yimou, Gu Changwei and Zhang Meng... He graduated from Shanghai Conservatory with a Bachelor's Degree and then the Central Conservatory with a Master's Degree. Having studied under Tan Dun (the Academy Award winner of Best Original Music Score for "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon") Liu worked alongside him on several projects. He also collaborates frequently with Hollywood composers such as Peter Golub and Nathan Wang.
