Alex Pintică is a passionate filmmaker and a curious cinephile.
As an editor, he has collaborated on a wide range of shorts, feature films, animations and documentaries with acclaimed filmmakers such as Marie-Rose Osta (Yawman ma walad (2026) - winner of the Golden Bear for the Best Short Film at Berlin 2026), Tudor Giurgiu (Padurea de molizi (2025)), Adrian Sitaru (Blindsight (2025) - Best Director Award in the Rebels with a Cause section of PÖFF 2025) and Paul Negoescu (Another Lottery Ticket (2023)). These experiences have shaped his approach to cinematic structure and storytelling.
In 2022, he received a nomination for a Young Hope Gopo Award for his directorial debut short musical comedy, No singing after eight (2021). The film also earned the Best Film award at Filmul de Piatra.
In 2025, he co-wrote ReGym, a workplace sitcom project that won the Creative Residency Award at Drama Room - TIFF.
Alex Pintică enjoys a good challenge and is determined to keep working on a project until he finds the perfect solution.
