  • Kim Kvamme is a method actor from Norway. Kim works in both English and Norwegian. The versatile actor has been working in English and Norwegian on both stage and screen since he graduated from the Norwegian Acting Institute (Norsk skuespillerinstitutt). He brings life both emotionally and physically to his characters.

    Kim was born April 15, 1990 in Bergen, Norway; his mother, Eva Revheim Kvamme, is a teacher, and his father, Terje Kvamme is a banker. Kim was brought up in Åsane, Bergen, Norway, and first studied to become a electrician. When one of his closest friends died in a car accident, he realized "you don't live forever". He moved to Oslo to pursue his dream of acting and has been acting ever since.

    Kim auditioned for the Norwegian Acting Institute with a monologue from "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams and got in on his first attempt. Kim studied two years of method acting and one year of character and comedy. Some of the interesting work he did there was "The Best intentions" by Henrik Bergman where he played Henrik Bergman. Directed by Randolf Walderhaug "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike" by Christopher Durang where he played Spike. Directed by Merri Ann Milwe Acting coach Rae C. Wright.

    In the production "=Oslo" where he played a drug addict, he didn't shower for a week and slept out side on the streets the night before opening. Directed by Miriam Sogn
