Francisco Charles was born in Bahia, Brazil, in the city of Paulo Afonso on August 3, 1954, but was registered on August 31, 1954. His birth name is Francisco das Chagas de Oliveira Lima. He was a professional skater in Ice Follice, Holiday on Ice, and Periquitos em Revista. As an actor, he performed in plays, series, films, and television commercials. He is the father of actor Johnnas Oliva. He is a cousin of musicians Sérgio Reoli and Samuel Reoli from the band Mamonas Assassinas, and also a cousin of Chef Rodrigo Oliveira.
