  • Lauren Paulis is an Ohio native living in Los Angeles. Her father is a composer and college professor and her mother is a music teacher at an arts academy in Canton. Growing up, Lauren knew she wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She starred in many local plays and performed in a vocal jazz and choral ensemble, competing at places like Walt Disney World.

Since then, Lauren has studied at Kent State University and then graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. During her time at Marymount Manhattan, Lauren acquired a love for Shakespeare and worked closely with John Basil, a founding member of the American Globe Theatre. In addition to Shakespeare, she received extensive dance training( Jeff Shade, Tera-Lee Pollin, Jacob Brent, Emily Clark), private voice study (John Welch), and on-camera training (Ann Hamilton).

Before moving to Los Angeles, Lauren spent some more time in Cleveland, Ohio. She starred in numerous films and commercials and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work on a short film called "Dischord". During her time in Cleveland, she studied closely with fellow actor and mentor James Madio (The Penguin, Band of Brothers, and Hook).

Lauren's latest project 'Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries' will air on UPtv in 2026. Where she stars along side industry veterans Galadriel Stineman, Denise Gossett, Kevin Joy, and Ryan O'Quinn.
