Maricelis Galanes

Maricelis Galanes is a bicoastal actress, singer and writer from Puerto Rico. She holds an MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University, trained at The Juilliard School's Extension Program and graduated from Syracuse University with a dual bachelor's in Drama and Psychology. Maricelis has performed with Off-Broadway theater's Roundabout Theatre Company + PRTT/Pregones ("The Oxcart"), MCC Theater ("¡GÁRGOLA!"), Repertorio Español ("La Traición en La Amistad") and Ensemble Studio Theatre ("Las Borinqueñas"), for which her performance was nominated for an Hola Award. Additionally, her most recent TV/Film credits include: "Miranda's Victim" - which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival - FOX's "Fantasy Island" and ABC's "The Baker and the Beauty". Maricelis is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.
