Shelley Brietling

Shelley a Philadelphia native always dreamed of becoming an actress, yet also felt a strong calling to teach. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Education and a minor in Theater, she began teaching 7th and 8th grade Reading and English in North Philadelphia. During this time, she also performed in numerous community theater productions. She later stepped away from teaching to raise her two sons, and once they reached high school, she returned to her lifelong passion pursuing acting professionally. For the past twelve years, Shelley has built an extensive career, appearing in more than 35 commercials, dozens of industrial type of work, numerous theater productions as both an actor and director, voiceover projects, television, web series, and independent films. She has also modeled on QVC. Among her favorite opportunities were playing a lead role in the independent film Game Day and a supporting role in A Slice of Chicago Romance, both available on Amazon Prime and Tubi. After relocating to Florida six years ago, Shelley has continued to work steadily while taking classes, workshops, and auditioning regularly. She hopes to inspire others by reminding them that it is never too late to pursue a dream, and that dreams are gifts meant to be explored and enjoyed. She is proud of the strides she has made and the dedication she brings to every project.
