Patrick Wirtz

Patrick Wirtz is a film producer based in Las Vegas, Nevada, originally from Bangkok, Thailand. After careers in academia, urban planning, and editorial photography, he transitioned to filmmaking with a focus on independent features. His feature debut as director, No Greater Odds (2016), a documentary about community colleges, screened at the Library of Congress for U.S. Congressional Education Committee members and earned a Pacific Southwest Emmy nomination for Best Director, Feature Non-Scripted. Patrick is the co-founder of 1905 Films with Emmy-winning filmmaker Deborah Richards. Their first feature together, Move Me No Mountain, won the Grand Prize for Best Feature at the 2024 Indie Vegas Film Festival. In 2025, they released their second feature, Shaken and Stirred: The Story of Flair Bartending, the first feature documentary to explore the global flair bartending movement, now out on Apple TV. Their third feature, the horror film Scissor Mouth, is in development.
