Biography

Filip is a Slovak composer whose work spans major platforms including Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney Plus, BBC, Showtime, and more. He contributed additional arrangements to the video game Dragon Age: The Veilguard alongside Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe, and has collaborated extensively with Balfe on major productions including the Netflix series Life on Our Planet (narrated by Morgan Freeman and produced by Steven Spielberg), Man vs Bee (starring Rowan Atkinson), The Wheel of Time, the award-winning miniseries Dopesick, and more. Filip has composed music for numerous projects, including the PBS documentary Amerigo, directed by Adam Mason and produced by Emmy Award winner David McCourt, Black Antenna (produced by Alice in Chains), and The Mannequin Man (from Stromedy Channel). In the gaming industry, Filip composed the scores for two DLC expansions for the acclaimed game ARMA 3: Reaction Forces and Expeditionary Forces. He has also written several library music albums for Bleeding Fingers, Extreme Music, Audio Network, Film Riot, and Fontana Studio, with recordings taking place at renowned studios including Abbey Road Studios, AIR Studios, and Synchron Stage Vienna.
