Biography

After entering the business as a recording artist, producer and songwriter (collaborating with his mentor, Grammy nominee Eddie Gypsy Stokes), Chicago native Kidd Envy discovered his true passion was film. He relocated to Los Angeles and has been working steadily as an actor, writer and producer ever since.

2018 was a banner year for Kidd. In addition to co-writing, co-producing and starring in the feature drama Intuitions (2019) alongside veteran stars Eric Roberts and Linda Gray, he wrote and starred in the feature comedy-drama One Last Try. He also has a starring role in the zombie feature comedy What Doesn't Kill Us (2019) and the vampire horror feature Red to Black.

Primetime TV audiences have seen Kidd prominently featured in commercials for ATT, DIRECTV and TGI Fridays. Kidd is developing a vampire web series entitled "The Fallen: Blood War", which begins shooting in Los Angeles in summer 2018.
