Salwa Khan(II)

Salwa Khan is a queer Muslim Bengali American actress based in New York. She trained at Esper Studios and LAMDA. She wrote and produced the short film When You Are Ready, which received the award for Best Medical Short and was accepted into multiple film festivals. Inspired by South Asian actors who began their careers in comedy, she has also started performing stand-up and can be seen at open mics around the city. Salwa is a board-certified pediatrician and works part time in the Emergency Department at Cohen’s Children’s Hospital.
