  • The 2014 production of "Mothers and Sons" marks the first time a legally-wed gay couple were seen on a Broadway stage. Tom and Terrence were originally married in a civil ceremony in Vermont Dec. 20th, 2003. To celebrate the Supreme Court's decision to legalize same-sex marriage for all50 states, they remarried in Washington, D.C. on April 6th, 2010. Tom and Terrence renewed their vows once more, on June 20th, 2015 at New York City Hall which was officiated by Mayor Bill de Blasio.
