Scottish filmmaker, composer and lyricist Michael Bruce writes scores and songs for film, television and theatre. His writer/director debut is the upcoming short musical film, Kiloran Bay, starring Alan Cumming and Jack Wolfe. He was composer-in-residence at the Donmar Warehouse between 2012 and 2019. He has written scores for theatre productions worldwide and his musical 'The Illusionist' adapted from the 2006 film, opened in Tokyo 2021. He trained at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts.
