Shoumie Mukherjee began her career in the television industry, serving as a producer for a chat show. After just two years in this role, her talent for collaborating with performing artists led her to a position in film casting.

To date, Shoumie has contributed to 23 films (both credited and uncredited) and worked alongside some of the country's most esteemed filmmakers. During her five years in casting, she honed a deep understanding of storytelling, with a focus on narrative development and screenwriting.

For the past seven years, Shoumie has worked as a Film Agent, representing actors, producers, and content creators, with a focus on films and fiction. Her role involves evaluating content for screen adaptations, overseeing full packaging processes, and facilitating content sales. She also plays an active part in curating and developing project slates for producers, platforms, and actors.
