Born and raised in Hamilton Ontario, Andrea Malloni is a Canadian writer, producer, and director residing in Toronto. Her short documentaries have won awards on the international film festival circuit and include "La Vida Es Un Carnaval - The Search for Happiness in Havana" (2020), "The Point: A Coming of Age Canticle" (2022) and "Smoking Hot: The Untold Story of Women and Cigars (2025)
Andrea is an avid urban and travel photographer. Her acrylic visual art compositions focus on gestural abstraction with hand to canvas technique. Inspired by the juxtaposition of beauty in decay - her photography, films, and paintings, incorporate themes of resolve, and testimony from the margins of society. Andrea is the President and Creative Director of film production company Fiat Lux Foundry.
