- Born in Beloit, Wisconsin, Timothy moved to Texas with his parents about six months after birth. With only a short period living in Austin, he has lived in the Greater Houston area all of his life. Tim is primarily known as a stage actor, working in Conroe and north Houston. He has been an actor or director in handful of short films and audio dramas. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Media Production with a minor in Theatre from the University of Houston.

- Tim and his wife have two rescue dogs, named Ginger and Usagi.
- While at the University of Houston, Tim created and produced "Science Fiction Theater" for Student Video Network, a student organization operating a closed-circuit television system on campus. The series ran from 1994-1999.
- Tim went to college to become a filmmaker, but says he didn't discover he was really an actor until 2012.
