Qais Qayumi (formerly known as Qais Khan) is a Belgian-Afghan actor, screenwriter, and producer. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, he has lived across Asia and Europe before settling in Brussels in 2010. His international journey shaped his multicultural perspective and fluency in seven languages: English, French, Hindi, Farsi, Urdu, Pashto, and Dari.
Qais made his stage debut at age 20 under the direction of American theatre director Alex Murphy, marking the beginning of a lifelong passion for performance. He has since appeared in acclaimed productions such as Tehran (2020), Gangs of London (2022), Bell Bottom (2021), and Nur (2016), a short film he also co-created.
Beyond acting, Qais is the founder of Qayumi Talent Agency, an agency by an actor for actors, dedicated to empowering performers and connecting European talent with international opportunities.
