Woni Spotts, First Black Woman to Travel to Every Country and Continent in the World by September 2018. Born in Los Angeles to entertainers Roger Hamilton Spotts and Betty Spotts , the explorer developed into a multidisciplinary artist, earned a BA, MA, PhD ABD in Philosophy (Anthropology) and formed an e-commerce company.
The 1989 documentary "Passing Through'" hosted by Woni Spotts, spanned over 166 Capitals/Countries and several territories. From 2014 to September 2018, Spotts traveled to Antarctica and the countries that the 1989 production missed after the funds for a fifth year dwindled.
