Cecil began his video production work over 25 years ago as a teen experimenting with short films, but he has worked and grown to the point where video production is his #1 love and passion.
He has made many short films as well as having worked on a couple of full-length features. He's also written 3 full-length screenplays, including one that got to the quarter and semi-finals of 2 different large writing competitions (Screencraft & Shriekfest) in 2015.
Additionally, Cecil created The Horror Show Channel on YouTube in 2014. The channel now has over 53,000 subscribers and over 4,000 episodes, garnering over 11 million views. One of the episodes, a short film called "Sweet", was listed by Dread Central as one of the TOP 5 Best Stephen King-inspired short films on the internet!
Cecil's biggest short film, "Dylan's New Nightmare", gained over 100K views in its first 5 days (before getting age restricted), and even to this day maintains over a 98% like to dislike ratio. The film was also an official selection in eight different film festivals. It was a finalist and semi-finalist in two of them, plus it won nine other awards across the other six festivals, including Best Horror Short of 2023 in the iHorror Awards.
