He is also connected to Egypt's Golden Age of cinema through his extended family. Fady is the great-nephew (by marriage) of legendary Egyptian screenwriter Berty Badar, the writer behind iconic classics such as "Raseef Nemra 5" and "Hamido". This early link to cinematic storytelling served as a quiet but powerful source of inspiration throughout his creative journey.

Born and raised in Egypt, Fady was always drawn to storytelling and the power of the visual arts. Marked in the Cannes Film Festival short corner in 2018, "The Red" went on to participate in several film festivals and is now available on several platforms around the world.
