- Essy Jo is an American born actress. She was born in Henderson, Nevada but spent most of her growing up years in various cities of Minnesota. Essy began acting in middle school theater and continued to act throughout high school. While she relished every minute of her theater experience she couldn't seem to quell the growing curiosity and desire to leap into film acting. She landed her first role in the independent short film "Whenever I Want You" in the summer of 2015. She went on to act in the short film "Family Ties" later that year, as well as filming two smaller clips used to promote the film. Since, Essy has lent her talents to several different genres and media forms. In addition to acting credits, the actress boasts credits in screenwriting, directing, and producing.
