RedruM - A tale of Murder is an adaptation of the Edgar Allan Poe classic The Tell Tale Heart. Touted to be India's first film with a 3D (Binaural) Background Score. The film stars Vibhav Roy, Pakistani actress Saaeda Imtiaaz and veteran Tom Alter in pivotal roles and is directed by the duo Dhruv-Sourabh. Synopsis RedruM - A tale of Murder is a story of a disturbed man who becomes a Rockstar, but even after receiving all the applaud, his complexities and insecurities get the better of him. Daksh, a singer, is doing extremely well up until he falls in love with Aarika. Aarika on attending Daksh's concert is completely swept off of her feet. They instantly fall in love. The stereotype attached to stars about drugs is true in this story as well. While Aarika is oblivious to Daksh being a drug addict, his name is the first to be involved with the drug mafia. Simultaneously we have the police searching for the drug mafia and all their clients. The news of Daksh's involvement with drugs and the police lead him to being kicked out of the band. As the lovers' fondness for each other grows so does Daksh's obsession and consequent anger with Aarika. In this ruckus Aarika blindly believes him and decides to help him with his singing career. She arranges for his performances, however Daksh manages to disappoint her here as well. After being tortured by Daksh, the frightened Aarika finally comes to her senses and decides to help the police find Daksh. The one thing that they are all unaware of is whether they will be able to the see the end of the tunnel. What makes Aarika an accomplice to the police? What happens when Daksh finds out? Does their love pass/fail the test of time? It doesn't matter where you come from, it's what you become that matters most. IS IT TRUE?

Redrum (2018)

Vibhav Roy is an Indian actor, who made his acting debut in Life OK's show Gustakh Dil. Vibhav started as a model and has been in TV commercials for well known brands such as Hindware, Suzuki Connect, Philips and Olay among others. He was recently seen playing the memorable character Itaat Khan in the highly controversial yet acclaimed movie Padmaavat, alongside Ranveer Singh. The movie was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Vibhav was born in New Delhi and spent his early schooling years in London where his parents were doctors. His mother, Dr. Madhu Roy is a Gynecologist and his father, Dr. Vipul Roy is a Cardiologist. He returned to India to complete high school at St. Columba's School, Delhi and soon after moved to Australia to pursue his graduate studies in Accounting and Finance at Monash University. Thereon, he worked with IBM, Australia for three years as a financial consultant and simultaneously completed the CPA certification. However, all this while he harbored the dream to pursue a career in acting. In 2012, he decided to convert his dream into reality and moved to Mumbai.

Vibhav started his career playing the main lead in Gustakh Dil on Life OK. He essayed the character of Nikhil, a suave educated businessman hailing from an affluent family who falls for a homely girl from a village. The show ran for 16 months and was quite a hit with the masses. With the show ending on a high, he portrayed the lead role of Ishaan in Zee TV's Doli Armaano Ki. The success of this show paved the way for him to work on Ekta Kapoor's Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan on Star TV. He quit the show within three months of joining and the show fizzled out due to low TRPs soon after.

After working in television for three years, he got a break in movies when he was approached for Padmaavat. Thereon, he depicted the character of 'Fahd Khan' in Sony Pictures release Lashtam Pashtam, which released on August 11th, 2018.
