Saana Koivisto

Saana Koivisto was born in Leuven, Belgium, but grew up and attended school in Finland. As a teenager, she played for the Pingviinit hockey team. In 2021, Koivisto earned a master's degree in theater arts. At the same university, she performed in the student ensemble TeaK/SibA. Saana plays the violin and sings, and her voice is mezzo-soprano. She also speaks French, English, and Swedish. Saana's first project appeared at the age of 16. She played a small role in the TV series "Uusi päivä." In the following years, Koivisto continued to appear in Finnish series and short films. Saana made her feature film debut in 2019, landing a supporting role in the melodrama "Elvis & Onerva." In parallel with her film career, Saana has been performing in the theater since 2015. Saana has performed in musicals and radio plays. She also works as a voice actress. She has worked on a series of audiobooks and the dubbing of the My Little Pony video game. She also starred in the music video for the track "Voimaa ja valoa" by Finnish singer Pete Parkkonen.
