Biography

Shilpa Maskey is a performer and have been working as an actress and also a dancer since last 6 years. She has worked as a lead actress in four Nepali feature movie. Also, as a supporting artist in some of the international projects. Apart from that she has also practiced and performed on various dance styles.

She was working and studying in UK to develop her craft and was getting opportunities to work under some of the big names but she wanted to come back to Nepal and bring back whatever she learned to make an influence in her own society and also through the art bringing Nepali culture in international scene.

One of the highlights of Shilpa Maskey's career is that she has actively participated in challenging roles which enabled her to understand depth of many characters as she always lived her characters rather than just playing it. Being a performer comes with the greater challenge, one being able to receive criticism with open heart. So far she has been able to keep positive attitude towards criticism with an understanding that every criticism comes with a greater learning opportunities.
