Biography

Joel Searls is a multi-award-winning actor, writer, and producer who has appeared in multiple features, TV series, commercials, on stage, and in short films. His most recent feature film-producing project is "Running with the Devil," a top 10 film on Netflix, written/directed by Jason Cabell, a retired Navy SEAL. His most recent TV Series producing credit is with Top Combat Pilot hosted by Dennis Quaid. He works in entertainment as a journalist for We Are The Mighty, Military.com, The War Horse, and The Leatherneck. Joel has completed the Writer's Guild Foundation Veterans Writing Project, is a produced playwright (Antioch), a commissioned screenwriter, and an Entertainment consultant. He has a BA in Theater from The Ohio State University. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve.
