Daniel Maciel(I)

Daniel Maciel was born in 1974 in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais. Graduated in Social Sciences from Fflch-Usp. He holds a master's degree in Communication Sciences from Eca-Usp, where he defended a dissertation on Screenwriting and Audiovisual Dramaturgy. He collaborated on the screenplay for the film Mais Forte que o Mundo and on the animation Bugigangue no Espaço. Daniel wrote the script for the music video Diferenças by singer Rael, and worked as an actor in the music video Vida Desgraçada by the band Mollotov Attack. He directed the short films Organicidades and A Morte Apressada. In 2021, Daniel directed Audio Dramaturgias, a project where people with visual impairments developed their own scripts for dramatic podcasts. He is developing the poetic documentary Gigante.
