Biography

Adam McClaughry is a Chicago-born filmmaker whose work blends storytelling with animation and visual design.

Adam cut his teeth writing and designing treatments for some of the industry's most sought after directors, helping win high end bids for brands such as Mercedes Benz, Meta, Samsung, Nissan, YouTube, Coca Cola, Instagram, Canon, and Mastercard -- including a Super Bowl spot in 2022, a 2023 Clio Gold winner, and a 2023 Cannes Lion winner.

In 2023, Adam wrote and edited 3 episodes of the HBO docuseries 'On The Roam', directed by & starring Jason Momoa, which was nominated for a Critic's Choice Award. One of his episodes, 'The Phantom and the Electric Way', was nominated for an EMA.

His visual effects work has spanned across multiple forms; from commissioned animations for brands such as AMIRI, Cadillac, Altra and Barbour, to photorealistic CGI sequences for feature films and commercials.
