Biography

Elisabeth Salazar is a Belgian-Bolivian actress based in Cochabamba, Bolivia, working in Spanish, French and English.

Her film work includes Llajua by Nakai Mirtenbaum, Los Suicidios de Sara by Miguel Urrutia, Anomalía by Sergio Vargas, Un Resplandor de Fe by Okie Cárdenas, El Loco y la Monja by Andrés Escobar, Las Evas by Claudia Gaensel, Las Vidas de Laura by Carlos Bolado, Lo que Siento por Ti by Camilo Maldonado, Lemu by Juan Pablo Richter, Comix by Yashira Jordán, and El Visitante by Martín Boulocq.

On television, she appeared in the pilot of the series Dirty White Girls by Wendy Dale, and in the episode Huelga of the series Historias de Libertad, directed by Martín Boulocq and Andrea Camponovo, produced by Grupo Ukamau.

On stage, Salazar has performed at major international theater festivals, and was awarded Best Actress at the 30th Peter Travesí Canedo National Theater Prize.

She is currently preparing for her next feature film, Mona by Denisse Arancibia.
