Biography

Cody Martin was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. Following his passion for music, Cody began to study the art of music and composition at a young age, and after graduation, contributed his musical skills in various colleges across the country as he continued to study at Maplewoods in Kansas City, and the CFTN Institute in Dallas. He began making connections with students and instructors at Full Sail University, and to this day has been working independently to create a new thriving music & film community.

He first began his official profession scoring music for short films such as, "Praesidium", and "If We Love", by Reel Clef Studios: A company he had co-founded with director, Paul Myzia. Both films surpassed tens of millions of viewings on multiple platforms, growing in popularity from 2016-2017, and gave Cody the motivation to continue pursuing his calling. From 2018 to present day, Cody continues writing independently & expanding his knowledge on scoring cinematic music to film & television, as well as the stock music industry, creating a wide range of music for passionate film makers all around the world & continues selling his compositions to over half a million client projects worldwide every two years.

Cody has worked with multiple mainstream entertainment platforms such as Epic Games, Showtime, ESPN, Amazon Prime, Faithworks Pictures & Hulu, with multiple theatrical placements and nominations for best theatrical score.

Today he continues to pursue his passions of scoring to picture, aiming to create a new cinematic experience for every viewer to immerse themselves in.
