Diego Felipe
For Diego, watching a movie with dinner was a nightly ritual in his household. Some of his fondest memories were when his family traveled abroad, when, after a long day of sight seeing, they would order room service and sit on the edge of their hotel beds to watch the Bourne Identity (dubbed in Italian). However, as with many cinephiles, being in the industry never seemed to be in the cards - not even in his wildest imagination. That all changed when he and his brother began acting in theater productions at a young age. Suddenly some of the magic of filmmaking was attainable. He began to pursue the Arts more fervently and went on to study filmmaking in college.

Diego graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in the Visual and Media Arts with a focus in Film Production. While attending he created several videos that garnered local critical success being featured on Boston-area news channels and covered by local media outlets - with one of his videos collecting over one million views on social media. During his time in Boston, a unique opportunity arose: a filmmaking intensive in Cuba led by Palm D'or winner, Abbas Kiarostami. Diego's father was a Cuban refugee and left the island at a young age never to return. Because of this, Diego felt called to apply not only see the country of his ancestors but to capture it. He applied and was accepted as the second youngest applicant to the program and subsequently became a pupil of Kiarostami's at the Escuela Internacional de Ciné y Televisón in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. There he created the short film Fe y Paciencia (2016) under Kiarostami's supervision. The film went on to receive recognition from national and international film festivals.

After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and began his career as a Production Assistant on the Steve Harvey Talk Show (NBC Universal). Six months later, after the show's cancellation, he was recruited to Light's Out with David Spade, a late night talk show on Comedy Central, and promoted to Field Associate Producer where he helped produce over 100 episodes of late night TV. After the show was canceled, Diego began working on a variety of shows, exhibiting his diverse abilities both in story conception and physical production as well as in post production, working as a Story Associate Producer and Segment Producer on shows for Fox, Netflix, and Amazon. Diego continues to push himself in the Film and TV industry as he moves into developing and producing feature film projects.
