Biography

Luis Peraza is a Venezuelan-born, South Florida-raised Line Producer and Production Manager. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, where he majored in Electronic Media and played college baseball. It was during his time at RPI that Luis landed his first major opportunity: working on the award-winning documentary The Yes Men Are Revolting, executive produced by Adam McKay through Gary Sanchez.

Since 2014, Luis has called Los Angeles home, but his roots in the Southeast remain strong. Starting as a PA, he climbed the AD ladder and ultimately became a Line Producer. His experience as a line producer span projects of every scale, from $50,000 shorts to $50 million episodic series for Latin America and China. He was in charge of the US portion of the VIX+ 2022 World Cup docuseries INFORME QATAR which shot in 7 US cities following the US Men's soccer team.

Luis has collaborated on hundreds of productions with companies like Lionsgate, Blumhouse, Hallmark, Funny or Die, and VIX+, working across 15+ states and five countries.
