Estelle Bernadotte was born on 26 September 1904 in Pleasantville, New York, USA. She was married to Carl Erik Sixten Ekstrand and Folke Bernadotte. She died on 28 May 1984 in Uppsala, Uppsala län, Sweden.
Estelle Romaine Manville was the daughter of American industrialist Hiram Edward Manville, Chairman of the Board of the Johns-Manville Corp, and Henrietta Estelle Romaine. Upon her marriage in 1928 to nobleman Folke Bernadotte of Sweden, she became Estelle Bernadotte, Countess of Wisborg.
