Sjoerd Martens (1993) lives and works in Amsterdam. His work immortalize shadows of human existence so that they can be experienced differently and infinitely. The documentation of these relics can also be given new life by way of multidisciplinarity, a new breathing environment, where still life collides with post-apocalyptic, semi-surreal rooms or landscapes. The areas he create are characterized by past human presence, current abandonedness and future uncertainty.
