Biography

Raised in New Jersey, Chris Barcia developed a deep passion for the arts and storytelling from an early age. His journey into filmmaking began during his early adulthood, working various roles in independent projects across New Jersey and New York. These hands-on experiences allowed Chris to hone his craft, ultimately becoming the award-winning filmmaker he is today.

In 2023, Chris released his short film, "THE LAST VIEW", and in 2024 Chris won best cinematography for the short film titled "ACCEPTANCE" (Directed by Mauricio Donoso). Today, Chris continues to showcase his work on the independent circuit, making a name for himself as both a Director and Director of Photography.

Chris is also the founder of Dark Mind Productions L.L.C., a New Jersey-based production company dedicated to creating compelling and innovative films.
