Martin Helstáb (b. 1995, Pécs, Hungary) is a film director, screenwriter, composer and visual artist known for the strong black humor he put in his comedies and experimental films. He worked on Warner Bros productions on Malta island and created several independent films in Hungary. Since his short film The Mouse Who Wanted to Be a Mouse (2015) gained international success, he's been a part of the global cinema scene, his first feature Zazongpari (2021) received the Luis Buñuel Memorial Award.
