Weston Dane comes from a creative family with deep roots in photography, design, fine art, and even Old Hollywood.

Weston Dane's paternal great-grandfather was Johnny Martone, a musician and bandleader who performed with the Johnny Martone Orchestra, including appearances in New York and New Jersey.

Weston Dane's paternal grandfather (by blood) was Norman Schulte, a Los Angeles- and Texas-based photographer whose work included portrait photography for CBS, including assisting photographer Gabi Rona (who photographed Lucille Ball and other celebrities).

Weston Dane's paternal grandfather (by marriage) was Lawrence "Larry" Jay, a Los Angeles bond specialist and financier who managed The Jay Group at Wedbush Securities.

Weston Dane's paternal grandmother was Elaine Martone, a 1960s actress and singer. Her screen credits include television roles on series such as The Wild Wild West and Alfred Hitchcock Presents, as well as film appearances including Hands of a Stranger (1962) and Zotz! (1962). She also appeared in the Burt Lancaster film The Hallelujah Trail (1965) (uncredited).

Weston Dane's mother, Lanette Schulte, is a former teacher and published mixed media artist and jewelry designer. Her work has been featured in Stampington & Company publications including Belle Armoire Jewelry, Jewelry Affaire, Green Craft, Haute Handbags, and Altered Couture.

Weston Dane has Italian heritage through his paternal great-great-grandfather, Pacifico Romeo Martone, who was born in Italy.

Weston Dane's father, Eric J. Schulte, is a designer and motion picture prop and wardrobe collector whose work bridges engineering and entertainment. He was featured with his collection on American Pickers and owns the Hullabaloo Diner, which was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and later used as a filming location for the 2023 Dennis Quaid film The Long Game. Select wardrobe pieces from his collection are scheduled to be featured in the George Bush Museum in 2026, including items from Independence Day and Waterworld.
