Born in Porto, Portugal, soon discovered a taste for photography and the black and white analogical photographic printing. Studied Medicine from 1987-1993 and Product Design from 1993-1997. Though still working nowadays as a medical doctor in rehabilitation and sports medicine, the will to know more regarding moving images led to study cinema and to finish a Master in Sound and Image, specializing in Cinema, in School of the Arts of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2017.
