Toby Ross was born on June 17, 1924 in Kingston, Georgia. Toby was a director and writer. Toby was married to Lillian Ross. Toby died on June 13, 2003 in Elmira, New York, USA.

Not to be confused with adult filmmaker Toby Ross.

Owned the film company Toby Ross Ltd at 8 W 40th Street, Manhattan, NYC, New York.

Produced the poetry book Joys of Fantasy: The Book for Loving Couples that was later published by Stein & Day in 1977.

On February 24, 1977 was arrested, with two others, in New York City on charges of conspiracy to sell and possess heroin and conspiracy to buy heroin. He was later convicted of these charges.
