  • Mark Logan is a director and sometime writer with a penchant for the fantastique, whether haunting, quirky, foreboding or horrific and is always looking for new perspectives from which to tell tales.

    Originally Mark trained as an actor at Birmingham Theatre School and worked predominantly in theatre including roles at Birmingham Rep, The English Shakespeare Company and a UK tour with Shakespeare In Education playing the lead in Macbeth. Mark Logan progressed to directing theatre productions and was the Artistic Director of Midlands touring company, Second City Theatre, where he directed Diary of a Somebody, the story of Joe Orton, World Premieres of Clive Barker's Dread and The Forbidden (The story that was adapted for the screen as Candyman) and a controversial tour of Clive Barker's, History Of The Devil which was banned by Burton On Trent Council.

    Between 2001 and 2008 Mark concentrated on comedy, firstly within sketch comedy group, Sideshow Society who produced several full length shows of original material for which he wrote, performed and directed, this culminated in the groups final show being performed at the Edinburgh Fringe. Following this Mark continued as one half of double act, Men With Bananas who performed at comedy clubs throughout the UK and produced seven different hour long Edinburgh Fringe shows between 2004 and 2007.

    Since 2014 Mark has been concentrating on his first love, films. Since enrolling on a Film MA through Raindance, Mark has made several short films both under his own, Jumper In Row D banner and for other producers. He has also made promo videos and music vids and returned to acting with a role in Kate Shenton's Egomaniac in 2016. In 2018 Mark will see a number of projects reach fruition including, Alan, a surreal short about the second coming of the Messiah...as a cheeseburger and Father, a segment of the portmanteau feature. For We Are Many, for Hex Media.

    Mark has several projects in various states of development for Jumper In Row D including a number of feature film scripts he is working on and continues to collaborate with other filmmakers on a variety of outside projects.
