Matt is originally from North West Leicestershire and spent time at The Television Workshop, Nottingham, under the direction of Ian Smith.
Matt went on to train at LAMDA, graduating from their 3 year course in 2014. During his time there, he was awarded the 'Lilian Baylis Award' for outstanding talent.
His most notable credits include, Downton Abbey BBC, Tina & Bobby ITV, Coronation Street ITV, Emmerdale ITV, Belgravia Universal, Against The Law BBC, Sgt Robert Missen in Tin Hat Productions’ WW1 feature Landship. Most notable of his theatre credits was a highly acclaimed portrayal of Mr Rochester in Jane Eyre at The Courtyard Hereford.
As a level 3 Personal Trainer and Headshot Photographer, Matt runs a company called The Headshots Gym, helping actors and business leaders with their brand and image in order to present the best version of themselves - mentally, physically and visually.
