- His record shop, Yesterday and Today, was a sanctuary and gathering place for punk, new wave, and alternative music fans in Rockville, Maryland from 1977 to 2002. His store was named for a 1966 record by the Beatles which originally had a cover showing the Fab Four with raw meat and decapitated baby dolls. After closing the store because of rising rent, he and his wife continued selling vinyl through the Internet, mail orders, and local record shows.
