She then moved to Los Angeles where she worked in Indie features and national commercials for brands such as Toyota, Microsof, and Wendys. Amalia quickly climbed the ranks as a 2nd Assistant Director and has successfully completed multiple projects working for award winning directors including David Fincher, M. Night Shyamalan, Barry Jenkins, Jimmy Chin, Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and more.
