Mariadel Villaespesa

Mariadel Villaespesa is a Spanish-American filmmaker and producer born in Málaga and based in Los Angeles. Educated in Spain, London, Cuba, and the U.S., she works across borders producing feature films and international collaborations while directing stories rooted in human intensity. Mariadel oversees projects from development through delivery, managing cross-cultural teams, financing structures, and complex production logistics. Her portfolio includes narrative features, branded content, and documentary work. She directed Un Día Hermoso and Ultraman: Become the Impossible and co-founded Marbella Film Academy, a nonprofit supporting emerging filmmakers.
