Biography

Jack is an award-winning independent film producer and business professional based in Melbourne, Australia. Having grown up in a studio environment with his parents, his father John Coco an accomplished musician and professional recording engineer and mother a singer-songwriter and creative designer, Jack is well grounded in business management, music, audio production and creative design. With a generous set of skills, Jack set out from the beginning to help drive and develop Primitive Films Inc. into a serious filmmaking entity.

In 2015, he produced and edited Playground (2015), a mid-length horror film which premiered at the Monash University Campus Cinema and was awarded an Official Selection at Phoenix Film Festival Melbourne. In 2016, he produced and edited the supernatural short horror film Juncture (2017), which won Best Horror Short at Frostbite International Film Festival, Best Short Film at TMBT Film Awards, was a Semi-Finalist at Los Angeles CineFest, and was awarded several Official Selections across a variety of festivals. Jack also spearheaded the Sound Mixing and Sound Design for both films.
