Juliana Rodriguez is an Argentine-born film director and multimedia artist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She moved to the United States in 2014 after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Film Directing from the Institute of Cinematographic Art of Avellaneda in Argentina in 2007.

Since then, Rodriguez has worked primarily as a freelance video and photo editor while continuing to develop her career as a filmmaker and visual storyteller. Her creative practice is deeply rooted in her formal training in cinema and shaped by her personal experiences, memories, and observations of the world around her.

As a director and storyteller, Rodriguez explores themes of nostalgia, tragedy, regret, memory, and the complexities of human connection. Her work often delves into the emotional spaces between people their desires, losses, relationships, and the moments that remain with them long after they have passed. Through cinema, she transforms intimate experiences into stories that speak to universal emotions and shared human experiences.
